Stepping Stones Solutions is building practical pathways toward independence through youth programming, transition-age life skills, career exploration, housing planning, and community partnerships. Our work is designed to meet people where they are now while building toward a stronger long-term campus model.
Kids Care Crew and Young Entrepreneurs Club are being developed for programming with the Conneaut Youth Center to help youth build confidence, responsibility, creativity, leadership, and practical life skills.
We are developing transition-age programming for community-based locations such as Amboy United Methodist Church so older youth and young adults can engage in life-skills training, cooking and nutrition, workforce readiness, trades exposure, and housing planning in a welcoming community-based setting.
Our office serves as home base while we grow programs, strengthen partnerships, document outcomes, and prepare for the long-term Stepping Stones campus vision and continued development of the Dalton Building recovery-housing project.

Youth programming begins through trusted community partners rather than waiting for a permanent campus. Kids Care Crew and Young Entrepreneurs Club are planned with the Conneaut Youth Center, while transition-age programming can grow through community spaces such as Amboy United Methodist Church
Programs will focus on practical life skills, financial literacy, cooking and nutrition, workforce readiness, trades and career exposure, entrepreneurship, housing planning, communication, and community connection
We will track participation, completed activities, skill growth, feedback, certificates, referrals, partnerships, and other measurable results. Those records help us improve the programs while building the experience and credibility needed for larger funding opportunities.
As partnerships and funding grow, Stepping Stones Solutions will continue exploring the Dalton Building as a future recovery-housing and community-resource location. The current concept includes women’s recovery housing along with shared community, kitchen, technology, and program space. It remains a development project, not an open facility.
The long-term vision is a permanent place where prevention, independent-living preparation, workforce development, housing stability, recovery support, community education, and partnerships can work together instead of operating as disconnected services.

Planned programming includes Kids Care Crew ages 12-17 and the Young Entrepreneurs Club ages8-17, giving younger participants opportunities to build responsibility, leadership, creativity, safety awareness, entrepreneurship, and practical real-world skills.
Ages 18–26
We are developing transition-age programming for a community setting such as Amboy United Methodist Church, with a focus on cooking and nutrition, independent-living skills, workforce readiness, trades exposure, financial skills, housing planning, and preparing for the realities of adulthood.
Our office property serves as the working home base for program development, meetings, curriculum and materials, partner coordination, administration, outreach, and future program growth. It allows the work to begin now while the larger campus vision develops.
Stepping Stones is not trying to recreate every service already available in the community. Our goal is to build strong connections with behavioral-health providers, housing and basic-needs resources, career and trades professionals, community organizations, educators, and other local partners so young people can find the right support when they need it.
The goal is connection, not duplication.
Not every learning opportunity needs a classroom. Stepping Stones can bring hands-on activities, information, skill-building, and community connections to local events, fairs, workshops, and other community spaces.
These opportunities help us meet young people and families where they already are, introduce programs in a comfortable setting, and build stronger connections throughout the community.
